The year was 1967. The place, Platte Woods, Missouri. Our founder, Dick Ryan, realized that his community was hungry for irresistible, signature pizzas, pasta and more, served up with authentic Kansas City hospitality. The answer was Pizza Shoppe – a cozy, neighborhood hangout with a welcoming atmosphere and some of the best, most original tastes in town. It quickly became the place where families and friends came to enjoy one-of-a-kind meals and memories, time and again. The rest, as they say, is history.
